About us
SoundPLAN Nord ApS was established on July 1, 2004. The mission of the company was and still is simple: To distribute SoundPLAN software within the 5 Nordic and the 3 Baltic countries including support of existing SoundPLAN users.
Before SoundPLAN Nord ApS took over, SoundPLAN was distributed by the Danish Acoustical Institute (now FORCE Technology). Implementations in SoundPLAN of the Nordic calculation standards and the ongoing monitoring of results obtained with SoundPLAN are still done in close cooperation between SoundPLAN Nord ApS and FORCE Technology.
Jacob Storm Jørgensen
Managing director
Graduated from the University of Southern Denmark in 2008 as civil engineer (M.Sc.) within environmental engineering specializing in external noise. Jacob has 10 years of experience of consulting with noise and vibration as Chief Consultant for Ramboll Denmark. Jacob worked as project manager on large EIA projects and EU noise mapping. Experienced user of MapInfo (GIS), INM (aircraft noise) and dBSea (Underwater noise).
External teacher in SoundPLAN at the University of Southern Denmark from 2010 -2012. Jacob has been certified by the Environmental Protection Agency to perform “Environmental Measurement – Traffic noise”.
